Using the scientific method, we can realise that there is a possibility that the world is a simulation. However to prove that, we have to create our own simulation (to prove that an interface can actually sustain a world with that much data).
Afterwards, we'd have to create a simulation inside that simulation to prove that simulations can sustain simulations inside those simulations.
